Initial Consultation

Our design services starts with an initial one hour consultation at your home or project site. An initial $100 charge is paid at the time of the first consultation. However, after you have made a deposit for one of the below design package or consultations, the $100 is deducted from your total invoice.

Room-by-Room – For the customer with specific design needs

• Hourly RateBest suited for smaller, or phased projects and can include everything from space planning to color consultation.

  Fee: $80 per hour

• Color ConsultationA color change is a quick, inexpensive and dramatic way to update your entire house. Color sets the mood and enhances your furnishings, but finding that right color isn't easy!  Julie first starts with a consultation at your home to determine your design aesthetic so she is then able to come up with a color story that meets each individual client's tastes. She will then deliver a report with color swatches and recommendations to create the effect you want whether it is a single room or your entire home.

  Fee: $80 per room or a whole house fee is negotiable depending on the size and complexity of your home

• Furniture Design PackageIn this package you can select one room or multiple rooms. Julie will visit with you and determine your design aesthetic. She will then put together a PowerPoint presentation of options along with a Furniture Layout until a mutual design agreement has been achieved. Julie will also take into account any existing pieces that are to be integrated into the design.

  Fee: $600 per room or a whole house fee is negotiable depending on the size and complexity of your home

• Interior Finishes for New Construction or RemodelJulie will take the stress out of making all the decisions you are faced with during construction. She will work directly with you and your contractor or architect to achieve your design goals. Interior finishes to include floor, tile (and tile layout), light and plumbing fixtures, countertops, and paint and wallcovering selections. Julie can also contract directly with the contractor to add to their services they provide clients.

  Fee: $2-5 per sq ft depending on the size and complexity of your space

• AutoCAD DrawingsJulie will work with your Architect or Contractor to produce AutoCAD drawings and Interior Specifications. She can also do a CAD layout of your furniture whether it be new and/or existing so you know exactly how the items will work in your space and their exact sizes with relation to your room.

  Fee: $45 an hour for computer work plus $80 per hour for meetings and/or site visits

Design Packages – a more comprehensive approach

• Naupaka -   $1,700  (up to 2 rooms) includes 30 hours of design work
• Pikake - $3,500 (up to 4 rooms) includes 60 hours of design work
• Ilima - $6,200 (up to 6 rooms) includes 120 hours of design work
• Kaimalino - $8,000 (up to 10 rooms) includes 180 hours of design work
